My Past Journeys

I am a first generation American on my mother's side and my father was in the military. When I was four, we were stationed in Panama, my mother's home country! During the day, my grandmother (abuela) watched me and my cousins. My abuela taught me Spanish and I learned to love Panamanian food and embrace the culture! These unique experiences gave me a special appreciation for helping others realize their American dream of home ownership.

I have been married for over 30 years and have two beautiful daughters, a fantastic son-in-law, and two amazing granddaughters! We live in Cascade, Colorado where I also run a B&B (Retreat at Chipita Park). We love sharing our home with those who only dream of living here! In my down time, I love reading, painting, tending to my chickens, parrot, and 3 dogs. I love skiing, hiking, kayaking, and hope to try my hand at snowboarding soon!

As an educator for more than 20 years in the states of Colorado, Florida, New Hampshire, Alabama, and Virginia, I know the importance of finding a home with an exceptional school system and supporting community that meets your family's needs.

As a military child and 26-year military spouse, I have moved over twenty times! Colorado Springs is home to a professional soccer team, the Switchbacks, who just moved into a brand new stadium in the heart of downtown! Additionally, a Colorado Vibes baseball game is a great way to spend time with family and friends! The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), Colorado College, and Pike's Peak Community College afford many opportunities for higher education. Colorado Springs is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. As a result, buying and selling a home may present unique challenges...and rewards!
